Kim K to co-host Darey's Love...Like A Movie Valentine Concert

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, will make her debut in Nigeria next weekend. She has been confirmed as special co-host, for ‘Love…Like A Movie’, the eagerly anticipated valentine concert by Darey’s Soul Muzik.

Kim has confirmed she's coming to Nigeria

Kim will join Nigerian superstars 2face Idibia, Flavour, Ice Prince, Iyanya, Timi Dakolo, Waje, 9ice, Praiz,Naeto C and Darey to deliver what will undoubtedly be the valentine concert of the year. The event will take place on Sunday February 17 at Eko Hotel and Suites.

Nike Oshinowo moves to Banana Island

Months after separating from her husband of six years, former beauty queen Nike Oshinowo has moved on and moved on big time. Not only does she have a richer and more powerful man in her life (name withheld...hehe) she's moved to a flat in one of Nigeria's most expensive areas, Banana Island.

Nike has told close friends that a reconciliation with her ex husband, Dr Tunde Soleye, will not happen. She has since dumped her wedding rings and is rumoured to be in a new relationship.

Channels TV Head of Sports, Joe Ighile, collapsed on set last night while presenting the 9'Oclock live sports programme. After introducing the programme, Joe told the crew that he was feeling uncomfortable and asked to take a break. He stepped out of the studio for some fresh air and collapsed a few minutes later.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died. He was 47 years old

Joe Ighile joined Channels TV in 2003. He's survived by a wife, two children and aged mother. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

Nanny Caught On Camera Slapping A 5- month-old Baby Girl (VIDEO)

Miss Nigeria: 5 States, 36 Contestants, 1 Queen, the search begins!

For the 38th prestigious Miss Nigeria beauty pageant, ATN and DAAR communications (AIT) with Beth Management Ltd is touring around Nigeria looking for girls between the ages of 18-25 years old, to become the queen ambassador, a role model to young Nigerian women, a spokesperson for charity while showcasing the positive attribute of a Nigerian woman.

The casting team would be touring, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Abuja rounding up with the final casting in Lagos. Auditions will take place from the 16th February to 30th March 2013. The casting aims to maximize the opportunity for girls to participate in the most sophisticated competition.

'El-Rufai’s book is a collection of fiction' - Atiku Abubakar

Former FCT minister Mallam El-Rufai wrote a memoir titled The Accidental Public Servant which was unveiled in Abuja today, and in the book he criticized a few politicians...one of them former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar. In the book, El-Rufai described Atiku as a corrupt power hungry politician and alleged that he (El-Rufai) had almost resigned as the former Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) because of persistent pressure and interference by Atiku, who was then the Chairman of the National Council on Privatization

Atiku has reacted to the content of the book, calling it a collection of fiction and exaggeration.

It amazes me that El Rufai can pass off fiction for self-gratification at the expense of truth as a book. El-Rufai's attack on my person is to say the least not surprising considering that this is the same man who has notoriety for disparaging religions and their icons, including lately Jesus Christ.

If he could go to such irreverent extent to disparage religious icons, who is an ordinary mortal like me? It is my belief that any man that can cross the boundary of reason and decency deserves prayers rather than anger.”

I wish to state that the book is as a collection of fiction, half truths, exaggeration and reflection of selective memory.

This is the story of a young boy whose parents were murdered during 2002 riots in Kaduna. He was aged 11 years at the time. His parents, Mr Austine and Mrs Josephine Moses, were missionaries until they met their untimely death.

The boy left his house to play football but returned home to see that all his parents had laboured for had been razed down and he would never see his mother and father again.

He was taken to London by his uncle almost immediately after the incident. While in London, he began deploying his football skills. Though his parents were murdered, his passion for football was never killed.

He played football for his school and later for a local Tandrige League club until Crystal Palace FC approached him. From that point, his career progressed in leaps and bounds.

This player played for England's under 16, 17, 19 and 21 teams between 2005 and 2010 scoring 11 goals for England during this period. He later moved to Wigan Athletic and now he plays for Chelsea. This footballer is called VICTOR MOSES.

His story is a touching one, I share his pains. I also share his courage. He had a choice not to step into Nigeria again but he didn't take that option. When the call to serve his fatherland came, Moses dumped England and embraced Nigeria... That is patriotism!

Today, we see a Victor Moses bringing joy to every Nigerian including those who may have inspired his parent's death... That is Love!

On Sunday, Moses would stand for the National Anthem and pledge allegiance to a country that couldn't defend his parents... That is faith!

Moses would deliver the "African Cup of Nations" trophy to Nigeria not minding what had happened in the past... That is forgiveness!

Moses rose through bitterness and despair to the limelight of hope and courage.

He never gave up on his country. He persevered... That is purpose!

If someone like Victor Moses, despite the bitter past, never gave up on Nigeria, then why should we....! ONE NIGERIA

2face Idibia And Annie Macaulay Set To Wed March 23rd In Dubai

Annie herself announced the March 23rd wedding date on her Facebook page, but here's a bit more info about the wedding.

Annie visited Dubai recently to look at venues for the wedding. They've found a place but are keeping that info secret until much later. The couple plan to fly a few friends and family members to Dubai for the grand wedding and 2face has booked several rooms in a few hotels in Dubai for their guests, including Burj Al Arab, the world's most luxurious hotel, where he and Annie will spend some time after their wedding.

Don Jazzy, D'banj, Basketmouth, Banky W, Kenny Ogungbe, Genevieve Nnaji, P-Square, Tonto Dikeh and many other celebrities will storm Dubai for the wedding.

Rapper AP.9 claims he had unprotected sex with Ice T's wife, Coco

Upcoming rapper AP.9 is back, and this time he's claiming he had unprotected sex with Ice T's wife, Coco Austin. AP.9 and Coco were involved in a scandal in December 2012 after suggestive photos of the two hit the internet. Coco claimed at the time that AP.9 was just a fan, but the rapper said there was more. Now he's claiming that he had unprotected sex with Coco. Below is what he told Star magazine.

“I first met Coco at Surrender Nightclub. She invited me to her table; I had a couple of drinks; we exchanged numbers. I could tell we had a physical attraction. She asked me, ‘What are you doing after the club?’ I said, ‘I’m probably just going to get a room and stay right here.’ She said, ‘Well, I’m going with you.’

We had sex. I don’t know who made the first move. It wasn’t making love; it was just sex. We had sex unprotected. I really hope she isn’t pregnant!
