NELSON MANDELA ON LIFE SUPPORT

Ailing former South African president Nelson Mandela who has remained in critical condition since admission in hospital for recurrent lung disease is now on life support. The development has not been officially confirmed but president Jacob Zuma today cancelled a planed visit to Mozambique. Keen observers of the ANC and anti-Apartheid icon's state of health interpret the cancellation as an indication that Mandela's condition may be worse than is being made public. He was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Saturday 8 June and was said to be in intensive care but his condition reportedly took a turn for the worse on Sunday 23 June. Untamed News has monitored the latest developments on multiple media sources including Al Jazeera carrying the unconfirmed report that Mandela is now on life support.
